Wealthing Like Rabbits (Paperback)
With household debt in Canada at an all-time high and personal savings lower than ever before, many Canadians are in dire need of financial advice. But can a book on practical financial planning include references to sex, zombies, or Star Trek? You might be surprised. Wealthing Like Rabbits is an accessible and engaging guide to personal finance that will convince you that financial planning doesn’t have to be painful, and neither does learning about it.
With a unique blend of humour, wit, and common sense, Robert R. Brown takes you through the fundamentals of money management using anecdotes and examples from popular culture to explain some of the most important, yet often mismanaged aspects of personal finance. Covering subjects ranging from retirement savings and mortgages to spending habits, credit cards, and debt, this book will arm you with simple strategies and provide you with a healthy dose of perspective to help you balance your life goals with your financial responsibilities. Wealthing Like Rabbits is a smart, thorough, never-boring guide to personal finance that you will certainly count as one of your best investments ever.

I set aside “The Death of Money” by James Rickards to read this book. It is such an easy read I completed it within 24 hours and want all my young people to at least have a chance to be in the financial know and hope my retirement friends will read and see it gets into their children and grandchildren hands as well. I have read many financial reports, books, newsletters etc over my 71 years but this was the easiest read with the most impact in a short time. Take the time , enlighten yourself and enjoy.
